Jazz band rehearsals will be Mondays and Fridays after school from 3:45pm-5:00pm. If you have any questions please email Mr. Gibson.
Select 7th and 8th grade students have been nominated to audition for SC region and York County all county band. The first audition for these students is at Fort Mill Middle School on December 10th. We will be taking a bus to the auditions and back to CMS. We will stop for dinner before going to Fort Mill Middle School. A letter with more information will be going home with the select students within the next two weeks about the event.
Our annual winter concert is December 16th. This is a mandatory event for all band students. Students not in attendance will receive a 0% for a test grade. All students will need to be in concert black attire for this event. (Boys black dress pants, black dress shirt, black belt, and black dress shoes. Ladies black dress is school dress code or black slacks, black top, and dress shoes.) You may purchase the students attire anywhere you would like. If you have any questions please email Mr. Gibson.

All students are expected to practice daily. Students who do not know their music for the concert will not perform on the concert. Students and parents will be notified by the first week of December if their child will not be participating on the winter concert.
ATLANTA TRIP PAYMENT IS DUE NOVEMBER 26th.
All band students can come in the band room to practice in the mornings. Students should take advantage of this opportunity.
I will be available to help students on Wednesday and Thursday this week after school until 5:00pm. This is optional for students.
All percussion students can attend Mr. Hall’s night of percussion from 4pm-5pm on Tuesday 11-12-19 in the Clover High School band room. Students can take the high school shuttle or can be dropped off for the event. If you have any questions please email Mr. Gibson.
7th and 8th grade Flute day with Mrs. Jill O’Neil is this Friday after school from 3:45pm-5:00pm. All 7th and 8th grade flutes should attend.
