On the website you will find the results for the 7th and 8th grade honor band. Please know that all students did a great job. More information with specific dates and times will be given to the students tomorrow. Please know this is an extreme honor to make this ensemble and it is an expectation for these students to rehearse two days a week after school. Students will have time to accept the invitation. ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO HAVE THEIR BAND BOOK BY OCTOBER 1ST. Students who have purchased their order through Pecknel Music has been placed and should be in within the next two weeks. If you still need to purchase a band book and do not want to order it yourself or go to the music store, please make a check for $12 to Clover Middle School and Mr. Gibson will place an order for you through Pecknel Music.
7th and 8th grade students will have a playing test on their concert music this week as well as a music terms test this week.
6th grade students will have a playing test this week. More information will be provided to the students early this week.
All band students can come to the band room in the morning to practice. I will greet car riders by 7:20am every morning to come down to the band room to practice. All bus riders can practice when they get to school before the bell rings as well.
If a student is not happy with their grade they can retake their playing tests before school or after school as many times as they want until the end of the 9 week grading period. All students will have to present their rubric from the original test before they can retest. Please email Mr. Gibson if you have any questions.
