Concert festival is March 27th. The concert will start at 1pm in the Nations Ford High School Auditorium in Fort Mill SC. All students will be receiving a grade for this event. All students will need to wear their concert black to the event. We will be rehearsing before we leave to the event on March 27th . All conflicts should be worked out for all band students to attend ALL rehearsals and performances. The band will be judged and will be receiving a rating for our festival performance on March 27th. After the performance students will be going out to lunch before heading back to Clover Middle School. If you have any questions please email Mr. Gibson.
The itinerary for our concert festival MARCH 27th Nations Ford High School Auditorium:
8:00am – Students report to the band room
8:00am –9:30am Students will have their final combined rehearsal
9:30am– 10:00am – Students will make sure they have all their belongings before loading the bus to Nations Ford
10:00am- load the buses to Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill SC
11:00am- arrive at Nations Ford High School District Auditorium
11:00am-11:45pm – Students will listen to bands in the Auditorium
11:45am – 12:00pm – Students will go to the buses to get instruments and concert belongings
12:30- CMS will head into warm up. ( No parents allowed)
1:00pm – CMS concert festival begins
1:15pm – CMS will perform in the sight-reading room. (No parents allowed)
1:30pm Students will head back to the bus to put up belongings then head back to the auditorium to listen for the results
2:00pm – Students will leave for lunch. Students will have the choice from Popeyes, Chick-fil-a, Wendy’s or Bojangles. (Rock Hill/Cherry Rd.)
4:00pm – ETA back to Clover Middle School
