7th Grade

SWBAT: Rehearse Armory (ALL)

SWBAT: Rehearse Castles and Dragons (45-56)

SWBAT: Sight read Achieve March

6th Grade

SWBAT: warm up on instrument with long-tones/book/scales etc...

SWBAT: complete Rhythm of the Day.

SWBAT: Buzz on mouthpiece. (Brass)

SWBAT: retain knowing the note names on their instruments.

SWBAT: Review with smart Music # 41, 42, 43, 44 in the book

Instrument Procedures

Students should drop off their instrument in the mornings outside the band room.

After class 7th and 8th grade students will place their instrument at the end of their hallway in their designated location.

6th grade students will take their instruments with them at the end of class

7th and 8th grade students are expected to pick up their instruments at the end of the hallway to take home with them.

Students with big instruments can leave their instrument at the school ONLY IF THEY PRACTICE IN THE MORNING IN THE BAND ROOM. If students with big instruments do not practice their instrument in the morning it will be expected that they take their instrument home with them that night to practice.

Students should be taking their instruments home daily. If you have any questions please reach out to Mr. Gibson.

Virtual Assignment for the week of 2-22-21 - 2-26-21

All assignments are due by Friday for a minor grade.

9:08-:9:48 (2nd Exploratory)

7th grade

10:50-11:30 (1st Exploratory)

11:34-12:14 (2nd Exploratory)

6th grade

1:37-2:16 (1st Exploratory)

2:20-3:00 (2nd Exploratory)

We will be going 4 days full time to 1 (C- Day) for the next 2 weeks before going full time 5 days a week. (5 days a week starts march 8th)

Make sure you take your instrument home daily

Students should not leave their instruments on the carts. All instruments will need to go home daily. If you have any questions about this please contact Mr. Gibson.
