Clover Middle School Band Program: January 2021

Students can bring in $12 for their band book in 7th or 8th grade. Or students can provide the receipt of purchase to get credit for having a band book. (Does not apply to 6th grade band members. )

6th Grade Winter Showcase 1-29-21 at 6pm

Our 6th grade winter showcase is Friday January 29th.

6th grade Concert is 6:00pm-6:30pm in the CMS GYM

Doors Open at 5:30pm. Students will need to be in their seat by 5:45pm in Concert Black Attire.

All students will be getting a grade for the concert. Students who are not there will receive a 0% for a major test grade.

All concerts are mandatory.

STUDENTS WILL NEED TO WEAR CONCERT BLACK ATTIRE.

Due to Covid restrictions students are only allowed to have their parents and siblings at the concert to reduce the crowd size.

All spectators will be required to wear a mask and social distance during the performance.

CONCERT ATTIRE INFORMATION

All students will be required to wear their concert black attire.

Boys: Black dress pants, black dress shirt, belt, black shoes.

REMINDER NO JAZZ BAND TODAY WE WILL RESUME NEXT FRIDAY

We will be having a material check next week. Students and parents have known about getting a band book from the beginning of the school year through the band website, emails, video messages and in person daily reminders to the students. If you would rather Mr. Gibson order the book bring $12 for purchase.

7th and 8th Grade Lists

I will be posting a list of students in 7th and 8th grade that will need their new band book later today. If your name is on this list you will need to have your new book.

7th and 8th Grade students will need their new band book. Material check next week for a major grade.

If you need to purchase a book it is $12 made payable to CMS. Once your order is placed, Mr. Gibson should be receiving your book from Pecknel music.

If your want to order the book online it would be cheaper. you can order through amazon or any music retailer.

7th Grade should get Essential Elements book 2 for their instrument. It should have a picture of YOUR instrument on the book. It is a red book similar to this:
