8th Grade Rehearsal Today at 1pm-3pm

8th grade rehearsal 10-30-20 1pm-3pm

 8th grade students will rehearse from 1pm-3pm on 10-30-20 in preparation for our winter concert. 

If your child is staying for the S.E.E. day they will report to the band room at 12:30pm and Lunch will be provided. (Pizza Man and water.) If you do not want pizza please bring a bag lunch.  

After Lunch we will start rehearsing in one of the big locations.  GYM / CAFETERIA.

Transportation will not be provided at 3pm.  All students will need to be picked up from CMS.  If transportation is an issue or your child will not be in attendance please let Mr. Gibson know so he can plan accordingly.

CVA Students report to Band from 9:45am-10:50am.  CVA students are the only students being dropped off and picked up from 9:45am-10:50am. All other students will have to follow the Friday schedule. 

Jazz Band Today 7:30am-8:30am

No CVA students have to come to class today or tomorrow due to incentive day.

Today and Tomorrow are Incentive Days and we will not have Band Class on These Days. You can leave your Instruments at Home Today and Tomorrow.

WINTER CONCER DECEMBER 4th for 7th and 8th Grade Band

 Our 7th grade and 8th grade winter concert is Friday December 4th. 

7th grade Concert is 6:00pm-6:30pm in the CMS GYM

8th grade concert is 7:00pm-7:30pm in the CMS GYM

Due to Covid restrictions students are only allowed to have their parents and siblings at the concert to reduce the crowd size. 

All spectators will be required to wear a mask and social distance during the performance. 

All students will be required to wear their concert black attire. 

Boys: Black dress pants, black dress shirt, belt, black shoes.

Clarinet  students FRIDAY 10-9-20 we will have sectional during school.  ONLY CLARINETS will be required to come in during our S.E.E. days for BAND. 

We will be rotating sections on Fridays every 4-5 weeks.  I will let each section know in advanced if they will need to come on a Friday.

STARTING THIS  WEEK WE WILL HAVE CLARINET SECTIONALS. 

If you are not a clarinet player and have to come to school on Friday for another teacher you will have band and join the sectional. Bring your instrument if this is the case. 

Transportation will be provided to the band students who are expected to come on the S.E.E. days.

CVA students who will be joining us in person on Fridays will need to come during the following times:

7th grade students switching to different instruments will be posted by tomorrow morning

 7th grade students switching to Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Baritone, French Horn, and Tuba will find out by tomorrow morning.  

Students who play these instruments do not have to give up their rental if they do not want to.  No fees for playing these instruments unless you break the instrument. Yellow form  has to be signed and returned before taking the school owned instrument home.
