School Instrument Collection will begin this week and next week.

No student will be allowed to take home a school owned instrument this summer.  (Bring home your owned/ rental instruments) Please talk to Mr. Gibson for more information.

Jazz Gig Tomorrow at River Hills Country Club


Itinerary:  
3:30pm- Arrive in the band room after school
3:30- 4:15 Change in concert black attire/eat/rehearse(Pizza will be provided)
4:15pm – Load the bus with our equipment.
4:30pm- Depart for River Hills Country Club
5:00pm – Arrive at River Hills Country Club
5:00pm-5:20pm Set up/warm up
5:30pm-6:00pm – Perform 
6:00pm – Parents can take students to the academic awards ceremony or students will help load the bus back to CMS
6:15pm- Depart 
6:30pm – Arrive back at CMS and put equipment away
6:45pm – Dismiss from event

8th grade Spring Camp at Clover High School 5-10-19 - 5-11-19




All students planning to be in marching band next year are required to attend. See your band director if you have questions or concerns or call the Clover Band office @ 810-8234.

At this rehearsal we will be handing out all of the 2019 Show Music and putting the 2019 PRIDE OF CLOVER together for the first time!

Disney Trip Tomorrow

Here are some general reminders about the Disney trip:

Sugessted Packing List

Concert attire 
Casual clothes for the park (tennis shoes good for walking) 
Clothes that can be layered are best for various temperatures.   
(PLEASE SEE DRESS CODE in Parks section)
Instrument and instrument accessories (extra reeds, mouthpieces, oils, neck straps, sticks, etc.)
Pajamas
Toiletries
Hooded Jacket (it could be cool or rainy).  (Poncho/Rain Jacket)
Watch or other time telling device.
Movies for the bus.  All movies must be rated PG or less.  Please make sure what you bring is appropriate.  (PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS VISIBLE on case of any movies your bring)
Pillow/Blanket for bus ride.
Cell phone charger/portable charger.  (Outlets may be limited)
Money for Lunch and Dinner in the Parks
Money for Lunchon the way to Orlando and on the way home.
Money for extra food/snacks/treats you may want in the parks 
Spending money
Ipads, Media players, cameras, batteries, headsets, earbuds are optional (bring at your own risk)
Backpackand waterbottlefor the parks


PLEASE REMEMBER, if you choose to bring expensive or irreplaceable personal items (i.e. I-pads, cell phones, tablets, etc.), you are doing so at your own risk. Any items lost, stolen, or broken ARE NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF theDirector, Chaperones, Clover Middle School, or Clover School District.

Suggested Spending Money:
Students need money for Dinner on Thursday as well as Lunchon the way home on Sunday.  Students willneed additional money for Lunch and Dinner Thursday - Sunday, snacks, extra food/drinks, and other treats to spend for shopping.
-It is recommendedthat students purchase a pre-paid debit card/gift card.  Estimated cost for food will be anywhere between $80-$120.  (Disney has several places to eat under $15)

DO NOT BRING THE FOLLOWING:
Do not bring your bathing suit.
Do not bring gaming consoles/devices. (Wii, Xbox, Playstation, etc.)
No external speakers for personal devices.
Do not bring expensive jewelry/valuables. 
Please do not bring smelly snacks like jerky, and certain chips and soft drinks (as well as other sticky food items.)  
Please do not bring/eat sunflower seeds.
Do not bring alcohol or tobacco.
Do not bring any vaping devices. 
Do not bring medicine or drugs of any kind  (We will have chaperoneswith us to give you whatever you need should you become ill)
Do not bring any Inappropriate/Offensive music or video materials.  (All media materials should be rated no more than PG)
